Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the American pop star Katy Perry were seen having dinner together on Monday night in Montreal, lighting a wave of speculation about a possible romance.
The two were photographed in Le Violon, a high -end restaurant in the neighborhood of the city plateau, described the 11th best in Canada and recently called “Michelin recommended.”
TMZ published images that show Perry smiling and sitting near Trudeau inside the place.
An eyewitness told him at the exit that the couple enjoyed cocktails and shared several dishes, including one with lobster.
While the nature of the meeting is still clear, its excursion comes at a time when both are freshly single.
Perry, currently touring in Canada with the next stops in Ottawa and Montreal, confirmed his separation from the Orlando Bloom actor earlier this month after a three -year commitment.
Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, announced their separation in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
Neither the Trudeau team nor the Perry or Violon representatives responded to the requests for comments.
