Islamabad:

Kazakhstan will officially announce his participation in the Turkmenistan-Fanistan-Pakistan-India (Tapi) Gas pipeline project, announcing a new chapter in regional energy cooperation.

This development was shared by the Kazakhstan ambassador during a meeting with the Federal Minister of Science and Technology of Pakistan, Khalid Hussain Magsi, held in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The high -level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties in key areas, including education, scientific research and technological collaboration.

Both parties expressed a firm commitment to deepen strategic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Khalid Hussain Magsi revealed that both nations are in the process of finishing several comprehension memorandum (MOU) aimed at promoting collaboration in the education sector.

He welcomed Kazakhstan’s interest in improving institutional links, particularly the proposal to establish a joint research center at the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) in Islamabad.

The Kazakhus ambassador stressed the importance of creating a business environment and proposed collaboration measures to stop smuggling.

He stressed that Kazakhstan sees Pakistan as a key regional partner to achieve shared objectives of economic connectivity and scientific progress.
