Kensington Palace has finally issued a statement regarding the illegal behavior that took place against Prince William and Kate Middleton.
For those who don’t know, the statement is in response to the couple winning their invasion of privacy lawsuit against a French magazine that shared images of them, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis wearing long glasses from their Easter holiday trip to the Alps.
What is pertinent to mention is that the French court also ordered the publication to acknowledge the breach through a judicial notice.
According Hello! The Palace has said that “their Royal Highnesses, The Prince and Princess of Wales, have been successful in legal proceedings launched in France against the owner of Paris Match, who published an extremely intrusive article and long-lensed paparazzi photographs from their private family holiday in the Alps in April.”
“The ruling affirms that, without prejudice to their public duties as members of the Royal Family, Their Royal Highnesses and their children have the right to have their private lives and family time respected, free from unlawful interference or intrusion.”
“The Prince and Princess of Wales are committed to protecting their private family time and ensuring that their children can grow up without undue scrutiny and interference. They will not hesitate to take whatever steps are necessary to enforce those limits.”
