Kevin Costner has a rich story of interpreting characters in the western genre, and believes that the role of women is very important.
“He always bothered me that we had no more women in our westerns because there was no west without women,” said the Oscar winner at the American premiere of Horizon: An American saga – Chapter 2.
“So that we think that a woman could not be co -opted right in front of a group of people, we are joking. Now it is happening, around us, worldwide,” he continued.
“When we were creating the story, we couldn’t keep women out of it. It was simply easier with them.”
