Khanewal:
A wave of crimes has taken over Khanewal, since several incidents of robbery and a fatal shooting were recorded in recent days.
In the most shameless acts, armed thieves looted cash, mobile phones, a motorcycle and even a tractor-commercio loaded with corn, while a man succumbed to the injuries suffered in a shooting incident.
According to the Khanewal police record, two armed men looted RS20,000 in cash and a mobile phone of a fast food outlet in the busy Chowk football area.
In another incident, two thieves on the outskirts of the city near Pull Nikaso snatched RS80,000 from a citizen named Abid Hussain.
In area 46/10-R in the jurisdiction of the Khanewal Saddar Police Station, three thieves in two motorcycles intercepted a man named Imran Baloch and took his new motorcycle by force.
Meanwhile, in the limits of the Sarai Sidhu police, three thieves in a car intercepted a tractor-commercio loaded with corn en route to a food factory in fine road. They tied the driver, Ashfaq, with ropes and left him in a field before fleeing with the vehicle.
Separately, in the Kamran neighborhood, falling under the police station of the city of Khanewal, a man named Irshad Ahmed, injured in a recent shot incident for a monetary dispute, succumbed to his wounds at the Nishtar hospital in fine.
Khanewal police say that investigations and operations are underway to stop those involved in incidents.
Meanwhile, in the town of 68 Mariwala Nedar Khanewal, a young man who cut a tree was taken by influential people to his camp, stripped, subjected to torture. The attackers also allegedly tried to sexually assault the victim.
The defendant continued to hit the victim while recording a video of his terrible experience.
