Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux will return to Major League Wrestling (MLW) in a highly anticipated match next month in Charleston, South Carolina.
Kross, who will be accompanied by Bordeaux, will face former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Matt Riddle at the “MLW x Don Gato Tequila Live Wrestling Special” on Nov. 20 at the Charleston Music Hall.

Kross and Bordeaux have been performing on the independent wrestling scene since their departure from WWE. The husband and wife duo have previous experience performing in MLW and their next match there seemed a long time coming.
“We’ve always had a great correspondence with MLW and Court Bauer and the whole team there; I think that goes back to before 2019,” Kross told Pak Gazette Digital. “We emerged in the Indies, we emerged in what would be the territory’s most intimate time, working all over the world. We met Court a long time ago and always stayed in touch. This was a very simple decision. When we all got in touch, we thought this would be a great fit for his audience.”
Kross and Bordeaux are far from the only former WWE stars to come to MLW in recent years. Riddle, Donovan Dijak, Bishop Dyer, Shotzi and Priscilla Kelly are the most recent former WWE figures to join the promotion. Bauer also previously worked at WWE before founding and revitalizing MLW.
“When we work as freelancers we ask our friends, ‘What places do you have the most fun? What places have fantastic production? What places would you recommend we work at?’ And these are formerly WWE people, so MLW is an easy fit,” Bordeaux said.
Kross vs. Riddle is billed as a “dream match” and the two competitors have expanded their fan bases in recent years.

Kross told Pak Gazette Digital that he just hoped they could remain friends after the battle.

“I’ve known Matt for a few years,” he said. “I consider him a close friend, and he’s been my training partner. He’s a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He’s legit. The idea of what a tough guy is is a little romanticized in the Clint Eastwood archetype: just being very stoic and not saying much. Matt is goofy, he likes to have fun, he likes to say outrageous things, and I think people forget that Matt has real credentials. He’s a very legit martial artist.
“I’ve fought some of the best martial artists in the world, very, very good guys. And then there are people who are on another level, that’s Matt Riddle. And I just hope that things stay good with us after we compete because sometimes that could change a friendship. I have to go in there and do what I have to do: what people pay me to do, which is ‘kill’ people. That’s the name. And Riddle is a killer in his own right. I just hope that Matt and I can still be friends after everything is over. All said and done because, like I said, sometimes things get weird and I hope they don’t, but no matter what happens, people will have a show.”
Bordeaux is not on the MLW card for November 20, but he should not be discounted as a mere valet or manager. She was named one of the Top 100 Wrestlers in the World by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2019 and has held women’s championships in multiple promotions during her career.
She joked that it might be a little longer before she returns to the ring for MLW.
“Maybe November 20, although it could be a little longer,” he told Pak Gazette Digital. “But I had my first return to the ring about two weeks ago, which was great. We hung out with Jimmy Jacobs at a show in Detroit and then I have some singles matches coming up.

“But right now we are in talks. I don’t have an opponent yet, if I’m going to fight in MLW, but we are in talks.”

The card will also include Dijak and Dyer defending the MLW Tag Team Championship against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, the Opera Cup finals between Mistico and Volador Jr. and an appearance by pro wrestling legend Arn Anderson.
