On Monday, Kimmel accused the conservatives of reaching “new minimums” when trying to fix a leftist ideology about the 22 -year -old suspect Tyler Robinson, despite the fact that the prosecutors reaffirmed those ties in Tuesday’s accusation.

“We arrived at some new minimums during the weekend with the Maga gang desperately trying to characterize this child who murdered Charlie Kirk as more than one of them and doing everything possible to obtain political points of him,” Kimmel said.

Kimmel’s comments occurred one day after both FBI officials and Utah Spencer Cox said that Robinson had a “leftist ideology” and was increasingly radicalized in recent years. It was also revealed that it had a romantic relationship with a transgender couple who was biologically masculine and making the woman transition.

Nexstar Media Group, which has hundreds of television stations, announced previously that it would avoid the Kimmel program in its ABC affiliates from Wednesday night “in the predictable future” and replace it with other programs on your comments on Robinson.

Sinclair asked for more action.

“Mr. Kimmel’s comments were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country,” said Sinclair vice president Jason Smith, in a statement. “We believe that the issuers have the responsibility of educating and raising the respectful and constructive dialogue in our communities. We appreciate the comments of the president of the FCC Car today, and this incident highlights the critical need for the FCC to take immediate regulatory measures to address the control maintained on the local issuers by the large national networks.”

Democratic legislators, actor Ben Stiller and others also criticized ABC.
