King Charles and Queen Camilla attended an exhibition on Wednesday celebrating 40 years of artists who accompany official visits abroad.

The exhibition exhibited art of 43 artists who have joined the king in 70 official visits in 95 countries and regions, Buckingham Palace said.

In a well -established tradition, the Royals select and personally finance an artist to accompany them in visits abroad.

After each tour, Charles has acquired at least one job as part of his private collection, said the palace.

The Royal Family shared a video of the King and Queen’s visit with a legend that said: “During the last 40 years, the king has commissioned an artist to accompany him in each of his official tours abroad. This diverse selection of painters has been able to observe and capture unique moments and extraordinary locations of 70 official visits in 95 countries and regions.”

“Today, the artists were held at an event to mark this year Milestone, with a selection of works of art at exhibition in the Buckingham Palace dance.”

“This summer, the visitors of the state rooms at the Buckingham Palace can see a special exhibition, The King’s Tour Artists, which presents more than 70 works of art from the collection of His Majesty, many on public exhibition for the first time. Go to our link in Bio for more information.”
