King Charles gently guides Prince William towards an unwanted royal destiny

King Charles has no choice but to abdicate his throne in favor of Prince William due to his battle with cancer, a source has revealed.

According to a new report, the monarch’s cancer treatment has accelerated plans for William to take the throne, and the transition could happen “sooner than expected.”

talking to New Idea MagazineA royal journalist revealed that the King has had to accept “limitations” during his treatment, and the Prince of Wales has taken on more responsibilities.

While William had hoped to become king much later in his life, Charles’ cancer will see him ascend to the throne within a year or two, one source speculated.

“[The King] “He has had to accept limitations during his cancer treatment,” said American royal reporter Sally Bedell Smith. “As a result, William has been taking on more responsibilities.”

Sharing William’s stance on the matter, the source said the Prince of Wales had “always hoped to inherit the crown much later in life, when his children were adults.”

“But sadly, Charles has to gently guide William to possibly accept a different fate,” they added.

“The only advantage of all this is that if Charles steps aside to concentrate on his health, he will have the precious and rare experience of seeing his son become king.”
