King Charles housed a deep affection for Pope Francis, says an expert.
His Majesty, who met the Pope in the Vatican this month, days before he died, felt that he had a deeper connection with the holy personality.
Real expert Russell Myers tells Mirror: “In a moving tribute to Pope Francis, the king talked about his” care for both people and the planet, “issues in which the two men of different worlds were deeply connected.”
He adds: “The king met Pope Francis twice as Prince of Wales, and together with Queen Camilla shared a” very significant and special “secret meeting with the Holy Father less than fifteen days before he died.”
The expert noticed: “The real sources said that both the king and the queen were” extremely grateful and humiliated “for the audience, that the monarch echoed in his statement yesterday saying how” they were very moved “to have visited it.”
“The Pope’s epitaph of helping people, while promoting the values of equity and love for our planet, aligns with the ambitions of the king by his own legacy,” he added.
