It is revealed that King Charles cannot save the monarchy with a punishment limited to Prince Andrew.
His Majesty, who has apparently forced his scandalous brother to renounce his titles, remembers that he has to do everything possible to make the public happy.
“Make no mistake, this was not their choice,” said royal expert Richard Eden. “The king forced his hand and had his brother Andrew hand them over voluntarily rather than drag the issue to Parliament, which would have meant even more bad press for Andrew.”
“If they expected [dropping the titles] It would be the end, unfortunately they have to think about it again,” says Richard.
“I am a monarchist,” he adds, “but if the monarchy is to last, it needs to lead by example. If it is continually degraded by these kinds of sordid stories, then its future is in danger.”
He tells the Daily Mail: “There are still many unresolved elements which look like they will continue to rumble unless further action is taken.”
