King Charles is now ready to talk about his experience in cancer, since he seemed to have overcome the initial pain.
According to a former royal gardener, the monarch wants to connect with others who pass through the same trip.
Talking with GB news, Former Royal Gardener Jack Stokes said he has been encouraging to see the king open, and added that he has made people feel closer to him.
The king recently shared a message with cancer patients, describing the diagnosis a terrifying and overwhelming moment, but also one that shows the kindness and strength of people.
Saying that the monarch is “finished”, Stokes said it is “incredible” to see Charles sharing his trip with the public.
“I think he has also helped the country to heat much more than they did when they was diagnosed for the first time,” he said.
Charles continued: “He came out directly and told everyone what was happening, and that he needed to take a free time of his real duties.
“I think the meaning is exactly what we have talked about: with him now having experienced cancer personally, it is very significant for him.
“He knows people who have had cancer, who have suffered, and he has lost friends and family. We can all appreciate that and recognize it within our own circles.
“This has really led him to his heart. He is a great defender of many beneficial organizations in the United Kingdom. He has done a fantastic job for these beneficial organizations.”
In addition, he added: “I have said it before, and it is only constantly working to ensure that their beneficial organizations collect funds to help support all the causes on which they focus, either by helping children, bringing people to work or the King’s foundation. There are many other beneficial organizations.
“But I think I had this year of terrible diagnosis of cancer, and now living with cancer, it is significant. They have told us that the Princess of Wales is in remission, but currently still lives with cancer and is receiving treatment. So, it is seeing it weekly.”
