Kingdom Come: Deliverance Developer Warhorse Studios has released a surprise update for the game, improving the experience for those playing on Xbox Series X and Series S or PlayStation 5.
Dubbed the ‘Next Generation Update’, it contains a host of improvements designed to make the most of current-generation hardware. This includes upgrading the graphics to the equivalent of the ‘Ultra’ setting on PC, with high-resolution textures and a 4K image.
This isn’t a simple patch either, but rather a set of full native ports for Xbox Series
Considering the fact that the game originally ran at around 30fps when it was first released for PS4 and Xbox One, these are some pretty substantial updates that should bring the experience much closer to that of the excellent sequel. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Some minor changes included in this update are the ability to link a Deep Silver account, plus new voiceover options in Czech and Japanese. The Turkish, Ukrainian and Brazilian Portuguese languages have also been improved.
Best of all, this entire update will be free for those who already own the game on the console. If you don’t have it yet, you can purchase the Standard Edition or the Royal Edition to take advantage of the new features today.
