- Kioxia CM9 SSDS series uses the eighth BICS Flash generation for business performance
- The fastest nand speeds and energy efficiency admit and data centers
- Offers 61.44TB Max, double port design and mass writing improvements
Kioxia has announced its CM9 PCIE 5.0 NVME SSDS series, marking the first business units built using its BICS BICS 3D 3D 3D Eighth Generation memory.
With the PCIE 5.0 and NVME 2.0 support, the SSD CM9 are designed to meet modern standards for the storage of the data center by offering high efficiency storage capable of supporting AI, automatic learning and high performance computing.
These new SSDs have CMO directly attached to the matrix architecture (CBA), an update designed to improve performance, energy efficiency and memory density. The use of Kioxia of Flash architecture based on CBA promises faster NAND interface speeds and lower latency, which helps units to offer faster data access and better energy efficiency.
First level bit density
Compared to the previous CM7 series, the CM9 line shows increases of approximately 65% in random writing speeds, 55% in random reading and 95% in sequential writing speeds.
The SSD of CM9, currently showing customers, are built to handle intensive and mixed use loads in business data centers and offer capacities of up to 61.44TB in the form of 2.5 inches and 30.72TB in E3.S.
The units are compatible with the NVME-MI 1.2C and OCP Datacenter NVME SSD 2.5 and admit double-port configurations, which makes them suitable for business environments where reliability and continuous access are critical.
Kioxia, who recently helped Linus technological tips Smash The world record of Pi calculation says that earnings in energy efficiency include approximately 55% sequential reading and a sequential writing yield 75% better per watt.
Although it is early in the CM9 series life cycle, specifications and performance numbers suggest that the company aims to strengthen its position in high -performance business storage.
Axel Stoermann, Vice President and Cto for Embedded Memory and SSD, Kioxia Europe GmbH, Said, “Alongside Processing Power and Energy Efficient, Memory is fundamental to enable Ai Ai, Machine Learning, and High-Performance Computing Applications. 8, is designated to address before Storage demands, providing top-tier bit density, rapid data transfer, and outstanding power efficient, All of which contribute to the superior performance of our SSD. “
