The search for training in Chief of the New York Knicks seems to be in full swing.
After making the surprising decision to separate from Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks are now looking at Jason Kidd as a potential candidate to replace the fourth most winning coach of the franchise.
According to ESPN, Knicks are actively investigating the chief coach of the Dallas Mavericks, Jason Kidd.

As Kidd is under contract with the MAVs, the Knicks would have to submit a formal application to talk to Dallas coach. The Knicks have not yet requested permission to interview Kidd, sources told ESPN.

According to reports, Kidd interviewed the Knicks in 2020, but Thibodeau got the work. Thibodeau took the Knicks to their first place in the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000. The Indiana Pacers eliminated New York in six games.

Kidd spent the last season of his long career in the NBA with the Knicks.
Before taking the work as a coach of the MAVs, Kidd had periods of training with Nets and Bucks. He also served as an assistant coach for the 2019-21 Lakers.
