The New York Knicks felt so well returning from a 20 -point deficit in game 1 against the Boston Celtics, they decided to do it once again on Wednesday night at TD Garden.
If game 1 was not shocking enough, game 2 provided another thriller of the fourth quarter that resulted in a 91-90 knicks victory, where they returned from a 20-point hole and took advantage of an icy shooting performance of the Celtics.
Now, the series goes to New York this weekend with the Knicks who have a series leader of the best series that anyone saw coming.

But it was the result that Boston did not shoot from the floor in the fourth quarter from triple Payton Pritchard with 8:40 remaining in the game. Yes, for more than eight minutes, the Celtics, despite having open looks, could not get one.
Meanwhile, Mikal Bridges, who once again was a defensive hero in this, had 14 points of the fourth quarter to help the return of the Knicks. But it was the passage of two points of Jalen Brunson on Jrue Holiday that gave the Knicks their first advantage since Og Anunoby opens three to start the game.

The advantage of 87-86 Knicks reached the two-minute mark, and both teams knew that it would be reduced to the cable once again. With 18.1 seconds on the clock, Jayson Tatum led from coast to coast, making his way around Knicks and hitting home a dump that gave Boston a slight margin of 90-89.
However, at the other extreme, Brunson received a lack of vacation and had two free throws to recover leadership. He nailed both, and was reduced to another defensive possession for New York. For Boston, they simply expected one of his stars to outside and save victory.

But Tatum found multiple knicks while trying to go to the hoop, and just when he got up for a reference jumper, Bridges surprised him with his long winging and snatched the ball to win.
Bridges did almost exactly the same in game 1, when he moved away from Jaylen Brown for ice.
The Knicks certainly did not have the best offensive performance, especially Brunson compared to their usual production. He scored 17 points in 6 of 19 shots from the field, while New York fired 43% and 29% from Deep as a team.

However, Boston had another difficult night in the offensive wing, hitting only 10 of his 40 attempts at three points. 45 were lost in game 1 and now another 30 added to the total series. As a team, the Celtics fired only 36.2% from the field.
Game 3 will be played in Madison Square Garden on Saturday with an ET notice of 3:30 pm.
