Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points, including 17 in the last quarter, and the Cleveland Cavaliers remained for a 121-112 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night for a 2-0 advantage in his first round series of the East Conference.

De’andre Hunter’s overturning with remaining 2:33 in the third quarter gave the Cavaliers a 93-74 advantage before the heat made its load with 10 consecutive points. That began a 25-8 race that saw the heat inside a basket. Davion Mitchell had 12 of his 18 points during the rally, with five points each of Herro and Nikola Jovic.
