Kylie Jenner is being beaten on social networks for her attitude while greeting Sir Eston John in the 2025 Academy Awards.
During a commercial break, Kylie was presented to Elton by her boyfriend nominated for Oscar Timothée Chalamet.
Dune’s star hugged the legendary musician while Kylie sat behind him. Then he turned to present the Cold heart Hitmaker for her.
However, Kylie could not stand up to greet the icon and only shook her hand while sitting. Being a gentleman, Elton took his hand and leaned down to kiss him.
This did not sit well with the users of social networks who saw a video of the incident.
“Oh no, no, you don’t get up for Sir Elton John!” Instagram user @ashleyimholte shot in a comment on the video of the awkward encounter.
“That is Sir Elton John,” said Instagram user @mscakes2013. “You stop when they receive you.”
I have no problem with the Kardashians, but, standing when they introduce me to anyone, especially Sir Elton John. I mean, come on … it’s a living legend. That simply did not feel good, “wrote @macabre.heart.
Innumerable other commentators echoed the same feelings and called Kylie for not standing while greeted a legend as Sir Elton John.
