Kylie Jenner has given her fans some disappointing news, her days of going all out on Halloween are officially over and the reason boils down to a simple matter of finances.
The 28-year-old founder of Kylie Cosmetics revealed in the older brother with the Kid Cudi podcast that the cost of his famous over-the-top Halloween looks and the accompanying photo shoots has become too high to justify continuing year after year.
“The amount of money I spend not only on wardrobe but also on photo shoots, I have withdrawn,” she said. “I can’t do this every year… It’s a big deal.”
The topic came up naturally as Jenner and host Kid Cudi reminisced about how they met, going back in time. Hunger Games premiere, before reminiscing about the memorable Halloween parties they both attended in the following years.
Jenner was quick to praise Cudi’s sartorial efforts in those meetings.
“Lots of crazy Halloween parties. You have the best costumes,” he told her. The Grammy winner returned the praise, saying he had “definitely” done his “best work” at his Halloween parties.
Jenner built a reputation over the years not only for one Halloween look, but also for several elaborate costumes over a single holiday weekend, each accompanied by a fully produced photo shoot.
