Ravi Road police made a significant advance on Thursday by arresting a suspect involved in the manufacture and distribution of ice, a highly dangerous and illegal drug in Lahore.
The defendant, identified as Tanveer, was caught in the act of manufacturing the substance in an impromptu factory.
According to the authorities, Tanveer was seen in a video that prepared ice, which led to his arrest after an undercover operation. After its capture, the Police recovered 2,160 grams of ice prepared together with chemicals used in its production, a cylinder stove, plastic bottles and other materials related to the manufacturing process.
It is believed that Tanveer was skilled in the production of ice, and according to the reports, he tried in his sale throughout the region. His arrest marks a significant blow to local drug trafficking.
An official case has been submitted against Tanveer, and the investigations are ongoing. The Police Superintendent (SP) City, Captain (Retd.) Qazi Ali Raza, praised the efforts of the Ravi Road Police Station and the team involved in the operation. He also granted thanks for thanks to the station officer (SHO) and his team for his role in the successful operation.
“The people responsible for the destruction of our youth through dangerous drugs such as ice will not receive indulgence,” said the captain of the city of SP (retd.) Qazi Ali Raza.
