A honey trap gang that operates in Lahore has been arrested, with seven people arrested, including three women and two police officers, according to authorities as Express News reported on Saturday.
According to the police, the gang used social networks to become friends with men before attracting them to apartments under false claims.
Once there, the victims were allegedly attacked and filmed in situations of commitment, and the gang demanded large sums of money in exchange for not filtering the images.
Los sospechosos arrestados fueron identificados como Asim, Waqas, Ahmed, Abrar, Noreen, Kiran y Fariha.
The authorities said the operation was traced using social networks, the Mobile Telephone Forensic and other modern research techniques.
The authorities recovered seven mobile phones, wives, a gun and RS55,000 in cash of the suspects. The researchers revealed that the gang had already attacked more than 50 people.
There has been a case against the defendant after a complaint from a local citizen, Kamran.
The FIR also alleges that a polio worker was involved in the operation and had been associated with As As As As As, the alleged leader of the gang.
