Lahore will open 10 model bazaars throughout the city, as part of the preparations for the sacred month of Ramadan.
The markets, destined to provide discount and quality goods to citizens during Ramadan, will be established under the supervision of the district administration, said Express News.
A meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, Syed Musa Raza, was held to finish the arrangements for the next Ramadan bazaars.
According to the informative session, each of the 10 model bazaars will have 10 stores: seven dedicated to selling fruits, vegetables, legumes, spices and other products, while three will focus on meat products.
In an effort to make purchases more accessible, separate counters for women, older people and regular customers will be available.
This initiative is expected to improve convenience and comfort, ensuring that everyone can buy efficiently.
Markets will offer goods to wholesale rates, with quality items available for citizens. DC Lahore said the articles will be sold at the prices established by the Market Committee, and suppliers will receive products at wholesale prices to keep costs for consumers.
DC Lahore has ordered that all preparations for Ramadan bazaars be completed before February 24, with the markets that will be opened before the start of Ramadan to meet the needs of buyers.
Proper parking and cleaning arrangements will also be made to guarantee a purchase experience without problems.
