The Baltimore Ravens Field Marshal, Lamar Jackson, apologized for pushing a fan, who slapped the helmet after a touchdown in defeat 41-40 against Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

Since then, the fan has been prohibited indefinitely in the NFL stages after hitting Jackson and the open receiver by Andre Hopkins, who caught a touchdown with one hand at his first reception with the Ravens. Hopkins led a celebration of the six points he had just scored, when the fanatical slapped the two helmets.

While Hopkins did not retaliate, Jackson pushed the fan, but is repentant.

“Just relax next time,” Jackson said in Ravens Practice on Wednesday in a message for the fan, through ESPN. “You can talk garbage and things, but keep your hands for yourself.

“It simply happened. They pushed me. I’m like, what? I wasn’t even thinking that I was in the field. My apologies with him.”

While the Bills set up a return in the last quarter, the fan had already been expelled from Highmark Stadium. Then, it was reported on Monday that the fan had been expelled from all NFL stages, including Bills’.

Jackson added that he has not had news from the NFL about any potential discipline of his actions, although he had conversations with the general manager of the Ravens, Eric Decosta and Chief coach John Harbaugh, according to ESPN.

“From what I can say, we are in a very good place with that,” Harbaugh said about Jackson’s situation.

This was not the only incident of fans in the first game of the Bills House on Sunday, since the 46 yards score of Derrick Henry led someone to launch a bottle of frozen water that almost hit the corridor in the annotation zone.

Jackson and the Ravens seemed that they were going to the victory on the way to start the 2025 season of the NFL, but all that disappeared in the last quarter when Josh Allen and the Bills defended themselves to win in a field goal.

Jackson finished game 14 of 19 for 209 yards and two passes touchdowns, while he also ran for 70 yards in six attempts with a touchdown on the floor as well. Henry takes the NFL to hurry after its 169 yards and two touchdowns night.
