Wordle month of hell
Regular Wordlers will have no doubts about the difficulty of the game last month, with a series of almost impossible words that cause all kinds of problems.
He was Tizzy, for example, with his repeated lyrics and an average of 4.9, and Poppy with his triple PS and 4.8 score.

But the two worst last month were Jumpy and Gofer, with scores of 5.2 and 5.6, respectively.
Only 21 games in the history of Wordle have passed the 5.0 brand (with another nine with exactly that score), so obtaining two in the two -week space is the nightmare thing.
Jumpy’s problem was that J at the beginning; As my analysis of each Wordle response shows, J is the least common letter in the game, therefore, what is rarely easy. The existence of lumps, Dumpy and Bachy will also have been a factor.

Harder than the rest
Worddlebot only launched in April 2022, a couple of hundreds of games in the series, so it is possible that December 2021 or March 2022, or another month, was even more difficult. But I doubt it. I have played all the Wordle so far and lost only once, and I certainly do not remember anything like July 2025.
To confirm my feeling, continue the average score of each day to obtain the general average of July, then I repeated the process for each of the other 38 months for which I have full details.
One thing that seemed interesting to me was that July 2025 was not only the most difficult until now, it was the most difficult until now. For a long time.
The general average of the month of 4.22 might not sound much higher than October 2024, the next highest than the list in 4.15, but is statistically significant since there is only a difference of 0.04 between months #2-7 on the list.

Difficult times approach
A remarkable characteristic of Julio Words was that there were five ‘non -original’ responses among the 31 games.
