- Another image of the DJI Osmo Action 6 has been leaked
- The shot shows the camera on a motorcycle.
- We may see an official release in the coming weeks.
It seems very likely that there will be a new contender for our list of the best action cameras set to make its debut in the coming weeks, in the form of the DJI Osmo Action 6, and now a new image of the device has leaked online.
As with many of the previous leaks of this camera, the image comes from well-known tipster Igor Bogdanov, but unlike images we’ve seen before, this one shows the DJI Osmo Action 6 in a real-world environment.
Previous shots of this action camera looked like official renders used for online retail listings, while this one appears to be a marketing image showing the device attached to a motorcycle’s handlebars.
We can also see what looks a lot like the DJI Osmo Action GPS Bluetooth remote control, now available as an optional accessory for DJI cameras. The display shows 1 hour and 53 minutes of remaining storage space for 4K/30 fps video.

Apart from being an interesting photo of the DJI Osmo Action 6 in action, it doesn’t really tell us anything new about the successor to the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro; We have already seen the design, front and back, in previous leaks.
Taking a closer look at the renders that previously appeared online, we can see a variable aperture of f/2.0-f/4.0 and a camera sensor size of 1/1.1-inch (compared to the 1/1.3-inch sensor on the current model).
The camera is expected to be a pretty substantial upgrade at that point, but DJI has yet to officially say anything about the device or when it might appear. There have been rumors about Monday, November 10 as a release date, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Of course, treat these leaks and rumors with a pinch of salt as usual, but these images come from a reliable source and it would be a surprise if what we’re seeing here isn’t actually the final design of the DJI Osmo Action 6.
