The ongoing protest by lawyers in Hyderabad has caused great interruptions to traffic flow, particularly that affect the key routes that connect to Karachi, Punjab and Rural Sindh.

The demonstration, which began at the door of Wadhu Wah at Hyderabad bypass, has led to a complete stop in traffic.

The protest caused a significant interruption on the key referral road that connects the Karachi-Hyderabad highway with the National Highway, creating long lines of vehicles and leaving the passengers stranded and distressed.

The protest comes from a legal dispute between the Local Police and the Bar Association, after the registration of a case against Ali Raza Advocate for using a false registration.

The lawyers have been demanding the transfer of the SSP Hyderab Farukh Lanjhar and the dismissal of the Sho of the Bhittai Nagar Police Station.

They also want the case of fraud against the Bar Association to be withdrawn.

As the protest intensified, the interruption of traffic affected not only daily travelers but also long -distance travelers, causing significant inconveniences and delays.

The president of the lawyers of the Superior Court of Sindh, lawyer Ayaz Hussain Tunio, made it clear that if their demands are not met, they will extend their protest throughout the country.

The higher lawyers, including the lawyer Sajad Ahmed Chandio, argued that the problem is about defending the rule of law, not only an issue between the police and the lawyers.

The lawyer KB Lutf Ali Laghari warned that lawyers can initiate a national movement, similar to that of 2007 for the restoration of former justice president Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, if their demand for the elimination of SSP Lanjar is not met.

On the other hand, the Sindh police have insisted on solving the problem through legal means. They have proposed a judicial investigation, supervised by the judge of the Hyderabad district session, to investigate the matter.

Despite these efforts, the protest continues to remain strong, with both sides standing in their positions.

Police argue that the FIR is part of a repression of vehicles with elegant plates, dyed windows and police lights, with around 50 signed recently by similar crimes.

However, lawyers reject this explanation, claiming that it was a personal retaliation by SSP Lanjar after their vehicle was overcome.

Earlier on Wednesday, the district police officers responded to the protest of the lawyers within the SSP office by submitting license applications, effectively renouncing their positions of the police stations and several police units.

The Sindh Secretary of Information of the Popular Party of Pakistan, former Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, visited protesters on Thursday night. He sat down with them on the way and heard patiently when lawyer Laghari narrated the complaints of the lawyers.
