Leadership advances the nuclear trip

Islamabad:

The country’s civil and military leadership has congratulated La Nación in the 27th Yo-E-Takbeer, while causing Pakistan’s nuclear journey and require a renewed unity and determination to transform the Nation into an economic power.

In his separate messages, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the Joint Personnel Heads Committee (CJCSC) and the Heads of Services, emphasized that the YOM-E-TAKBEER is a tribute to the forecast of the visionary leadership and the brilliance of Pakistani scientists and engineers.

Yom-E-Takbeer on May 28 (today) commemorates the transcendental occasion in 1998, when Pakistan emerged as a nuclear energy, which increases strategic balance in southern Asia and affirms his sovereign right to self-defense.

In his message, the president emphasized that becoming a nuclear energy was a calculated decision to guarantee peace through force, maintain strategic balance in southern Asia and protect the nation against any external aggression.

“Today we observe the 27th anniversary of YOM-E-TAKBEER, a day when we demonstrate our nuclear abilities and establish strategic deterrence,” he said. “Pakistan does not seek conflicts and is committed to the principles of peaceful coexistence and respect for international law,” he added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz, in his separate message, also requested a renewed national unit and determination.

The prime minister linked this year’s commemoration with Pakistan’s recent success by defending himself against “an unjustified war imposed by India.” He took advantage of the spirit of the nation during the confrontation from May 6 to 10. “Yom-E-Takbeer’s joys have increased even more for a nation full of victory.”

Shehbaz paid tribute to the architects of the Pakistan nuclear program. “I greet the nation, which made immense sacrifices for the end of the nuclear program and wrote a proud history of its determination and faith,” he said.

Meanwhile, according to a press release issued by Public Relations between Services (ISPR), the Pakistan Armed Forces, together with the president of the Joint Committee of Personnel Chiefs and the Heads of Services, extended the sincere congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the 27th anniversary of Yom-E-Takbeer.

“Pakistan’s strategic capacity is a national confidence, which reflects the collective aspirations of its people. The commemoration of Yom-E-Takeer is a tribute to the forecast of visionary leadership, the brilliance of our scientists and engineers, and the innumerable contributions of all those who gave the defense of unwavering Pakistan,” he said.
