- Leaked Google Pixel 10a renders show it almost identical to the Pixel 9a
- It could also have similar specs, but an “improved” chipset.
- The price could also remain the same.
So far, we haven’t heard many rumors about the Google Pixel 10a, but the biggest leak has just emerged, as both the renders and possible specifications have now been shared.
Android Headlines and @OnLeaks, a leaker with a great track record, have shown renders of a phone that looks a lot like the Google Pixel 9a, but is apparently the Pixel 10a. It has the same elongated camera block, the same general shape and the same positions for the ports and buttons as its predecessor.
Unfortunately, that’s not a good thing, as our Google Pixel 9a review described that phone as “ugly as sin.” Of course, that’s subjective, but it certainly lacks the distinctive design of the main Pixel models.
The only visual aspect that looks like it could be an upgrade are the bezels, and the Google Pixel 10a’s bezels look smaller here. However, in a post on
The Google Pixel 10a could also be a little thicker than its predecessor, with rumored dimensions of 153.9 x 72.9 x 9mm, and it could have a slightly smaller 6.2-inch display (compared to the 6.3-inch Pixel 9a).
It will also apparently have the same Tensor G4 chipset as the Pixel 9a, albeit an “improved” version, which likely means higher clock speeds. The cameras are also supposed to remain the same, i.e. a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 13MP front-facing camera.
A small update
So what’s really improving, other than the Pixel 10a perhaps having a marginal performance boost? Well, this leak speculates that the phone’s seemingly slightly thicker build could facilitate a higher-capacity battery than its predecessor’s 5,100mAh cell, and a previous leak suggested its display could also get a little brighter, but that’s apparently all there is to it.
The good news is that the Google Pixel 10a apparently won’t cost more than its predecessor, with a starting price of $499 for a model with 128GB of storage. However, it’s unclear whether or not other storage capacities will be available, and pricing for other regions hasn’t been leaked either, although if it’s the same as the Pixel 9a, it will cost £499 / AU$849.
We should find out soon, as this leak speculates that the phone will land in early 2026. Although if the other details in this leak are accurate, it may not be worth the wait.
