LeBron James drew a setback on Sunday night when he announced 90 minutes before the NBA stars game was established to advance that he would resign to play on him in a foot problem.
The Los Angeles Lakers star said the mini tournament would be lost with discomfort of the feet and ankle. He finished his streak of 20 consecutive appearances in the star game. TNT hosts seemed to be horrified by James’s late decision.

“I think ‘Bron could help someone else and said this before,” Draymond Green said to the Golden State Warriors striker, through a horrible announcement.
The former NBA star, Jalen Rose, added that James “took a place on someone’s list.”
It was the first time James lost a game of stars since 2004. He was ready to play for the Shaquille O’Neal team in the new competition format of the star game. The team was reduced to seven players: Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Jays Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard and James Harden.

“I expected it to feel much better this morning, but it is not where I want it to be,” said James. “And with 30 games and with us trying to make an impulse of playoffs in the wild, wild, west, I feel that it is very important for me to take care of myself and understand what is happening.
“So, I will not say that it is maintenance, but it is maintenance,” he said. “At the same time, I have to take care of myself when it comes to this lesion I have been dealing with for years.”
James said he will resume the rehabilitation of the injury on Monday and hoped to play on Wednesday when the Lakers return from the break to compete against the Charlotte Hornets.

He is averaging 24.3 points, 9 assists and 7.7 rebounds per game this season.
