LeBron-Stephen A dispute: Charles Barkley weighs

The member of the Basketball Hall of Basketball Charles Barkley intervened in the dispute between ESPN Stephen A. Smith and Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James, during an appearance on the radio on Friday.

Smith and James exchanged BARS in separate media appearances throughout the week. It occurred after James faced Smith during a Lakers game for comments that the hot shot made about his son, Bronny. Smith said nothing personal had been said. Smith uploaded the bet by mentioning the personal problems he could have said about LeBron James but did not.

Barkley analyzed the War of Words during an appearance in “The Dan Patrick Show”. He said that both Smith and James had a quite bad week.

“Both had a horrible week,” he said. “LeBron, is too big to be that type of stalker. To intimidate Stephen A. and to intimidate Brian Windhortst … Brian Windhorsst, he is a sweet person, man. He is just trying to do his thing. And I always liked LeBron, but he being a large part, he turned off.

“But I will say this: Stephen A., the way he reacted was so lame and weak. Stephen A. Good guy, man. LeBron, I blamed him for starting bullying, going to the Pat program he has just harass people, because he already knows LeBron, he is a fan of control. He knows everything he is doing. He knew that when he walked until Stepen A., he knew what he was doing. (Gilbert Arenas podcast), Tough Tower, come on, man, you are better than that.

“There are only losers in this stage. You got the biggest star in the game, you probably get the biggest star on television and both look bad. And what bothers me most is that both are good guys. I don’t care that people who are a well look bad. I don’t care that because they deserve it. But Stephen A. is a good guy and LeBron is a good guy. What I was trying to do.

It is not clear if the relationship will ever be repaired. Smith has said that James is only angry with him for his opinion that the Lakers star will never surpass Michael Jordan as the best basketball player of all time.

Smith had to retract a comment that made James that attended the monument of Kobe Bryant. Smith said James was not there when he was in the February 2020 event. James was out of the center of attention.

“My apologies and clarifications. I put badly at the#1 hour of @firsttake today when I hinted that LeBron did not attend the Kobe Bryant memorial. I corrected in time#2 when I recognized that I was really present,” he wrote in X.

“My mistake. I shouldn’t even have addressed that issue. It wasn’t my main point. I don’t portray anything I said. You have a good day!”
