Lenovo shows the laptop with rotating screen: yes, it is real, and so is that rumored autojusting notebook support

  • Lenovo has presented two innovative conceptual products
  • The Thinkbook Veriflex concept has a screen that rotates 90 degrees in portrait mode
  • The concept of Smart Motion is an intelligent portable computer support that can position its ergonomically notebook and offers voice and gesture control

Lenovo has presented a very different laptop with a screen that can turn, along with an intelligent left field notebook, can be oriented intelligently in relation to the user’s position, in its Innovation World 2025 event (which is happening next to IFA 2025).

They must notice that both are conceptual products, and we already glimpse them when they were leaked by the rumor factory earlier this week.

The laptop is the Vetiflex Lenovo Thinkbook concept and its main innovation is a 14 -inch screen that is rotating by 90 degrees. Essentially, the screen revolves independently of the lid to sit in a vertical position (portrait) if you need the screen to be higher, or it can have it in the standard horizontal orientation (landscape).

Having the portrait mode as an easy access option makes this a useful portable computer for encoders or writers, or in fact to read long documents (maybe it will be an ingenious option to reflect your smartphone).

Unfortunately, we do not get much information about the Vertiflex thought book, except for the fact that it is thin and light, weight of 1.39 kg and 18 mm thick. Of course, this is still a very early job in progress, and only a proof of concept, so it is not a surprise that the details are thin in the field.
