Irish golfer Leona Maguire fought for leadership in the KPMG Women’s PGA championship during the weekend, even when she expressed her discomfort with tick bites.
Maguire said he suffered the snacks in Erin Hills Golf Couse in Wisconsin during the US Women’s Open. And he was trying the problem with doxycycline. However, Maguire showed journalists during the Women’s PGA championship that his hand was swollen.

She described the ampoule as a “Pepperoni”, according to Golf Week.

Texas Heat did not help Maguire much during the tournament. The first round of the Women’s Championship PGA four strokes behind the leader Jeeno Thitikul ended, but fell off the rhythm.
She shot 76 in the final round and ended up tied in the 19th with Nelly Korda, Miranda Wang and Yomin Hwang. Minjee Lee won the tournament.
“Many thanks to @kpmg and @kpmgsports for their continuous commitment to raise the female golf and for the excellent hospitality this week,” Maguire wrote in his Instagram account. “@kpmgwomenspga PGA Frisco was a difficult test: the wind did not yield, but neither is it good to be back in the business business on a Sunday afternoon.”
Maguire has been on the LPGA tour since 2020. This season, he has made 14 appearances in the tournament and made the cut 10 times.

She has won around $ 315,000 so far this season.
