
Lewis Capaldi is returning to music, opening on his plans to launch an album.
Appearing in Good morning America, He said: “I don’t know about an album, but I hope it’s … I’m doing an EP at some point this year. And then an album will continue perhaps next year.”
However, the Scottish singer did not share the name or launch date for the EP, joking that he was not allowed to reveal the details of the project.
Lewis’s return to the music scene occurs after suffering a diagnosis of Tourette syndrome in 2023.
“The fact that this is probably not a surprise does not make it easier to write, but I am very sorry to let him know that I will take a break from the tour in the predictable future,” he wrote, informing fans that he is taking a break from music.
He continued: “He used to enjoy every second of the shows like this and hoped that 3 weeks would order me.”
“But the truth is that I am still learning to adapt to the impact of my Tourette and on Saturday it became evident that I need to spend much more time obtaining my mental and physical health to continue doing everything I love for a long time.”
With a limit, Lewis said his condition required intensive therapy, to which he underwent the last two years.
“A lot of therapy. It has been pleasant, to talk a lot about me. Crying a lot in the last two years … I just enclosed and putting everything together and here we are,” he said in the day interview program.
