- LG has revealed the prices of the United States for its OLED LG G5 and LG C5 TVs

LG has announced the price of two of its television series OLED 2025, LG G5 and LG C5, and in some welcome news, the prices are the same and even cheaper for some sizes compared to last year’s models.
Available to order now from LG, LG G5 and LG C5 are successors of LG G4 and LG C4, two of the best OLED televisions of 2024. The price for the LG G5 LG G5 LG G5 of 55, 65, 77, 83 and 97 inches:
- LG 55 inches G5 OLED: $ 2,499
- LG 65 inches G5 OLED: $ 3,399
- LG 77 inches G5 OLED: $ 4,499
- LG 83 inches G5 OLED: $ 6,499
- LG 97 inches G5 OLED: $ 27,999
Interestingly, the new LG 48 inches is not mentioned, which was announced in the United Kingdom with the other models earlier this month along with prices.
The price of the LG C5 series, available in six sizes, is as follows:
- LG 42 inches C5 OLED: $ 1,399
- LG 48 inches C5 OLED: $ 1,599
- LG 55 inches C5 OLED: $ 1,999
- LG 65 inches C5 OLED: $ 2,699
- OLED C5 LG 77 inches: $ 3,699
- OLED C5 of 83 inches LG: $ 5,399
Compared to LG G4 and LG C4 last year, the launch prices for the G5 and C5 are largely, with a couple of exceptions.
The G5 and C5 of 55 and 77 inches and 42 inches are launching $ 100 cheaper than their respective 2024 counterparts, which are welcome price news.

The announcement of these prices also gives us our first launch dates, with each model of G5 and C5 that appears as available in March 2025. Although there is no specific date, this means that the availability is imminent since we are already in the second week of March. This launch calendar follows the same pattern as LG OLED have had in recent years.
LG has not yet announced a release date or a price for LG B5 in the US.
A price surprise
These are the first official prices for LG G5 and LG C5 in the US that we have received. Initially we prejudiced that they would be more expensive compared to their counterparts 2024 after a first look at CES 2025 (inflation accounting and price trends during the previous years). However, the European price for the prices of LG G5, C5 and B5 and the United Kingdom for LG G5 was recently announced, revealing that prices were still the same for the G4 in Europe and the United Kingdom and for the C5 in Europe. We hope this was also the case of the United States, and fortunately, it is.
What we do not anticipate in all this price news is that some models would be cheaper. Yes, at the time of writing, prices are still a premium and significantly higher than OLED LG 2024 models, which have seen their prices fall during last year. But for launch prices to match LG’s OLED 2024 line, and even be cheaper, it could be a good sign for the future. Could the prices of the G5 and C5 series eventually fall even lower than their predecessors?
We have seen the LG G5 and C5 in person and we are excited about how both advance in two of the best televisions of 2024. LG suggested an impulse of 40% full screen brightness in the LG G5 compared to the LG G4 and now we have seen the G5 and G4 from side to side and you can confirm that the increase in brightness is very real.
We have also seen Webos 25 and its new range of exciting characteristics of AI, including the AI Sound assistant, which allows users to customize the built -in sound profile of their LG TV in action and, spoiler alert, is great. From what we have seen, the C5 looks like a very capable TV.
We have not had the opportunity to try the new LG G5 or C5 still completely, but we hope in the coming weeks. It encourages what we have seen so far and we are eager to have in our hands.
