The Superior Court of Lahore (LHC) on Wednesday convened the President of the National Responsibility Office (NAB) on Wednesday to appear in person on September 15 together with the full case record in a matter of contempt to the Court.
A two -members bank headed by the president of the Supreme Court was listening to the request presented by lawyer Ahsan Abid.
The petitioner argued that Khusro Bakhtiar and Hashim Jawan Bakht had accumulated illegal assets, and despite submitting a NAB application for an investigation, the office did not act. He argued that NAB had not eliminated the complaint despite the clear directions of the Court, for contempt of the court.
