Islamabad:
The LHCBA presented a miscellaneous request in the Supreme Court on Thursday, requesting the postponement of a meeting of the Judicial Commission, scheduled for February 11.
In his request, the LHCBA said that the court had issued notices in the 26th case of constitutional amendment, while a meeting of the Judicial Commission for the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court was convened. He added that a general impression was that the meeting had been convened for the “judicial packaging.”
The appointment of eight judges of the Supreme Court will be considered at the meeting of the Judicial Commission on February 11.
