Liam Gallagher apologized for the use of an involuntary racial insult.
The iconic British legend, who will meet with his brother, Noel Gallagher for the most anticipated Oasis live ’25 tour, Marking his return after 16 long years, he recognized his mistake of using inappropriate language.
Liam, who will begin the Mainity Stadium Gig in Cardiff on July 4, and performs a second night on July 5, will go to multiple locations throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, including Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Croke Park in Dublin and Murrayfield Stadium in Edimburg.
On Tuesday, the Wonder Wall Hitmaker published an anti-Asian insult, “Chingchong” in its X, previously Twitter account, which led to a great reaction.
In response, a fan wrote: “Liam, you can’t say that”, to which Liam asked, “why” while another worried fan told him that “it could be canceled today”, to which the leader responded with indifference: “Whatever it is.”
However, later, he eliminated the publication mentioning the racially inappropriate word, writing an apology that said:
“I’m sorry if I offended someone with my tweet before I was not intentional, you know that I love everyone and I don’t discriminate. Peace and love.”
This is also not the first time that Liam has been criticized for using racial insults as in 2022, during the World Cup, published the “Mong” of the capable insult, addressed to the then manager of the then manager of England, Gareth Southgate.
In another old publication, he wrote “Fuck You Wake Spastics.” And although both publications were eliminated by the Oasis star, he did not add up to them.
Now, two days before Liam and Noel Gallagher meet on stage for their meeting tour, it seems appropriate that the stars do everything possible to prevent people from being disappointed, especially when they are already quite close to having a fairly legendary meeting.
