The girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, before his death, Kate Cassidy just got emotional on his death anniversary.
She took to TikTok with her emotions and posted a video of herself and a friend named Kaitlin Reagan.
The video shows her friend lifting Cassidy bridal style and spinning her around in her arms.
Audio also plays in the background that viewers can hear saying “I think you may have accidentally saved my life.”
It is pertinent to mention that this is a post, in a series that Cassidy has shared from Liam.
Just nine hours earlier, she shared another TikTok in which she was seen staring into space, with a caption at the top of the screen that reads “pain is a reminder of how lucky I am to have loved someone so much that I will endure missing them for the rest of my life.”
But that’s not all, last week she also wore her heart on her sleeve, and even managed to address critics who constantly criticize her ‘pain’ for the One Direction singer.
In one of those videos, posted just a day earlier, she is seen wearing eye masks and talking to the camera.
“This week obviously hasn’t been the easiest week and it won’t be the easiest week and I have a lot of mixed emotions – the pain comes in many waves.”
But “I feel like no matter what I do, I get comments, so if I make this video people will be like, ‘of course she had to make this video,’ but also if I didn’t make this video and I just went on a trip, people would be like, ‘what is she doing? How is she not crying in bed?'”
“For those who may not know, October 16, which is two days from now, is the day my late partner passed away. I’ve said this several times before, in the past, I like to be busy,” said the late singer’s girlfriend.
Liam Payne’s death:
What is pertinent to mention is that Liam Payne died at the age of 31, after falling from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel, around 5 in the afternoon on October 16, 2024.
His cause of death was determined to be multiple trauma, which is when a person dies due to multiple injuries to the body. However, his blood test also showed traces of cocaine and prescription antidepressants in his system,” according to The mirror.
Manslaughter charges were also sought against Payne’s friend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, hotel operator Gilda Martín and even front desk clerk Esteban Grassi, but have since been dropped.
But an employee named Ezequiel Pereyra and waiter Braian Paiz were accused of supplying cocaine and have remained in custody since January despite denying any wrongdoing.
