If you thought Lies of p: overture It was the only substantial content that reached one of this year’s best soul games … well, you thought badly. That is because Lies of p You are also ready to receive a free update that will be made available to all players, regardless of whether you are buying the Overture expansion or not.
The update is bringing two new modes of difficulty to the game. The first is the Butterfly guide, an easier difficulty option for those looking for a more relaxed experience. Then there is Awakened Puppet, a tougher option for players after a significantly more challenging game. The predetermined difficulty that is in the game is at this time is renamed ‘Legendary Stalker’.
It is not yet known what effects will these modes of difficulty have. Lies of P. But it is easy to imagine the damage scale for enemies and perhaps an increase or decrease in enemy density depending on the difficulty you select.
The update is also bringing a dedicated Rush chief mode to the game. Appointed Battle Memories, you can access this way at the Krat Stargazer hotel after cleaning the game at least once.
Battle Memories will allow you to challenge the previously defeated bosses of the base game and the Overture DLC (downloadable content). Each boss has five levels of difficulty, with the hardest levels 4 and 5 blocked until you have cleared the previous ones (you will get access to level 4 after beating level 3, for example).
The Neowiz editor has also caused additional unlockable for those who are willing to challenge the toughest levels: “Who knows what rewards wait for those who exceed these hardened challenges?”
But that’s not all, since Battle Memories is paired with another mode called Death March. This mode challenges players to defeat a minimum of three bosses consecutively with a limited group of elements and heal pulse cells. You can also establish custom scenarios here, selecting the bosses you want to face. Difficulty levels of battle memories can also be applied here.
Sounds like a very substantial update to go next to the next Overture expansion. With multiple difficulty options, Boss Rush modes and the potential for unique rewards, there really is something for everyone here.
Finally, this Lies of p The update will arrive on the same day as the Overture DLC releases, at some point in the summer of 2025.
