Lil Nas X is opening on the changes he has received over the years.
He Industry baby Hitmaker, 25, was having a moment of red carpet in the Glaad Media Awards on Thursday when he revealed his vision in the future.
“I want to be myself more than ever this time,” said Lil Nas X People’s magazine. “I want to be completely free out there, just doing the things I want to do. If I don’t want to do it, I’m not doing it.”
He continued: “If I don’t want to be there, I will not be there. I think it is more important than ever to really be in me and my power and recognize where I am taking my energy and where I do not want to take it.”
The Grammy winner revealed that one thing that prevented him from growing before was to want “everyone like.”
“When I began to release it more, I still clung to him. And now I’m here and I’m just … I’m appearing like me. I’m existing,” he said.
On the professional front, Lil Nas launched a new project Days before Dreamboy On March 28, marking four years since its last EP Huntsman of 2021.
