Phil Mickelson showed the world of golf that still has it during a LIV golf tournament on Sunday.
Mickelson was at Hole 17 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia on Sunday when he tried a rough shot. He stopped at the bunker and balanced his club, trying to hit him to get to Green, at least.

The ball traveled to Green and continued rolling until it fell into the cup.
“That is incredible,” said the station while Mickelson raised her arms with delight.
It was one of the best photos of the 2025 season in Liv Golf. Mickelson was 12 low and in seventh place when he stuck the shot. It finished 13 bass for the tournament and tied in fourth place with Thomas Pieters, Bryson Dechambeau and Bubba Watson.

Hyflyers GC, Mickelson’s team is the Captain, finished in eighth place when Andy Ogletree, Brendan Steele and Cameron Tringale ended up well below Mickelson.
Joaquin Niemann won the tournament, ending 15 under par. Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri were tied in the second, shooting 14 bass.
Niemann has four victories in the season and left Virginia with a leadership firm for the championship. Dechambeau is just behind him. Jon Rahm, Sergio García and Lucas Herbert complete the first five.

Mickelson is in the 11th in the classification even when the first tournament of the season was lost. He finished third in Hong Kong and Sixth in Miami to accompany his end in Virginia.
