LSU’s gymnast, Livvy Dunne, lost her senior night on Friday.
The 22 -year -old New Jersey native announced on an Instagram post that has a “fracture by avulsion of my kneecap”, which cost her meeting on Friday night.
“I absolutely do not have the opportunity to compete in the (Pete Maravich Assembly Center) for the last time,” Dunne wrote.

Dunne has not competed since January 24 against Arkansas, but could return to the NCAA next month. A typical recovery time for Kneecap’s injury is at least three months, but it could also take up to half a year.
The Cleveland clinic defines an avulsion fracture as an injury when “a small piece of bone attached to a tendon or ligament moves away from the main part of the bone.”
On Friday he marked No. 2 in the last match at the house of the LSU season, a victory of 198.575-197.175 over No. 10 Georgia.

The Tigers go to Auburn on Friday before the SEC championships on March 22.
The national regional ones extend from April 2 to 6, while the NCAA championships, which LSU won last year, will extend from April 17 to 19 in Fort Worth.
Dunne was eligible for a fifth year and decided to return as one of the main winners of the NCAA, with millions of followers on social networks.

Dunne is dating the student of LSU and the contender of Cy Young Paul Skenes, who was appointed rookie of the year of the National MLB League in 2024.
