Livvy Dunne fighting with injuries that could end the gymnastics career


LSU’s gymnast, Livvy Dunne, lost her senior night on Friday.

The 22 -year -old New Jersey native announced on an Instagram post that has a “fracture by avulsion of my kneecap”, which cost her meeting on Friday night.

“I absolutely do not have the opportunity to compete in the (Pete Maravich Assembly Center) for the last time,” Dunne wrote.

Dunne has not competed since January 24 against Arkansas, but could return to the NCAA next month. A typical recovery time for Kneecap’s injury is at least three months, but it could also take up to half a year.
