Olivia Dunne had one of the largest social media followings of any college athlete during her time as a star gymnast for the LSU Tigers, who won a national championship during her tenure.
As Dunne has put his days as a top athlete behind him, he has more than 7.9 million followers on TikTok and another 5.3 million on Instagram. She’s no longer an LSU gymnast at this stage in her life, but there’s one thing she doesn’t want to be known for.

Dunne bristled at the term during an interview with Maxim. Then they asked her what she wanted to be called.
“Former athlete and, honestly, right now: model,” he said.
Dunne appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway, going viral for a jaw-dropping split during the show.
She recently appeared on the cover of the magazine and posed for photos for a spread.

Dunne spoke with Maxim about the business ventures he undertook during college and after leaving LSU once his collegiate career ended, particularly his fight on behalf of others to obtain fair compensation for athletes’ name, image and likeness.
“A recruit who hasn’t even touched a foot on a campus is still getting paid $12 million for a booster. That’s not an NIL deal, he’s paid to play,” she told Maxim, adding that “that would never happen with any women’s sport.”
Dunne established the Livvy Fund in 2023 to help LSU female student-athletes make the most of NIL sponsorships.
“The brands I work with put money in a fund and my sister will match them with a student-athlete who goes to LSU and wants to work,” he said.

When she’s not working on her brand or the Livvy Fund, Dunne can be seen cheering on her boyfriend Paul Skenes while he plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
