Taylor Swift seemed to have established the standard when it comes to professional athletes.
Olivia Dunne, a former gymnasta national champion in LSU, told Page Six in a recent interview that he is looking at the pop star when it comes to navigating in that world. Dunne is in a relationship with the Pittsburgh Star Pirates Paul Skenes.

But unlike the beginning of Swift and Travis Kelce, Dunne and Skenes familiarized each other, since both went to LSU.
“(Taylor) has her boyfriend who is a professional athlete and my boyfriend is also a professional athlete,” he told The Outlet. “And she has her own success and I have my own success, so I try to look at her perspective on things and how she handles criticism, how she sails.”
Dunne said that trying to go out with professional athletes is their own beast because they always travel, among the other challenges it entails.
In the case of Swift, he is currently the world’s most popular recording artist, but received some boos from NFL fans in the Super Bowl Lix last February.

“I think she takes heat much worse than me, because, I mean, the bigger you are, the more people you have trying to tear you down,” Dunne added to page six. “He really resonated with me. It is a unique position to be. And I think for some people, women in sport feel uncomfortable for some reason.”
The life of quotes is far from being the only thing that Dunne admires Swift. He pointed out that the music icon seems to be dominating almost all aspects of life at age 35.
“I admire it in many different ways. His work ethics, how much does he care what he presents and how the meaning behind everything is very admirable.”

Swift appeared in the “New Heights” podcast last week next to Kelce. The two offered a look at their relationship, which began in 2023.
