Olivia Dunne was at the receiving end of some playful blows during the week while watching her boyfriend Paul Skenes nervously help Pittsburgh’s pirates to Victoria against the reds of Cincinnati.
Dunne had her arms over her head while watching Skenes throw and reveal the sweaty armpits. The moment went viral on social networks. But the former Lsu Tigers gymnast had the last word.

“You face the ‘well’ in Pittsburgh,” wrote a person on Tiktok in response to one of his Great Ballpark American videos.
Dunne replied: “You would also break as a pirate fan.”
There is a real core in the sense that pirates have not had exactly the best seasons recently. Pirates are 70-90 this season and have not reached the playoffs since the 2015 season.

Skenes has been one of the few bright points for pirates in the last two seasons. He was the rookie of the year of the National League 2024 and is a contender for the Cy Young award of the National League this season.
It has 216 strikeouts and an effectiveness of 1.97 in 32 games. However, he had 10-10 while the pirates struggled to find support for him.
“I’m really worse than last year,” said Skenes. “It was 1.96 last year. I have 1.97 this year. I just have to be better. No, it’s great. I don’t get a year with any numerical objective.”

The pirates announced during the game against the reds that the brand established for most strikeouts in a single season for a right. Bob Veale and Oliver Pérez had more strikeouts in a single season.
