Olivia Dunne, a former gymnast of LSU Tigers and popular star of social networks, repaired in the background history about how he decided to separate during a parade of Sports Illustrated in Miami earlier this year.

The national champion appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition this year and was able to walk along the track for the first time. He explained in “What is your story? With Stephanie McMahon” that he could participate in the program because he was out of LSU and had no need to start training for the next season.

During the May show, he was paved along the catwalk with a black and white polka dumb of black and white that presented red arches in the front and towards his hips. When he reached the end of the hall, he fell into a separation.

She told McMahon in a recent episode of the podcast of the former WWE executive who was nervous to make the program because she had never walked a track, much less in one of the fashionable parades before.

“I went to Miami. I had no idea what to expect,” Dunne explained. “I have never walked on a track up to date in my life. I have only walked in the mirror of my room after seeing the secret fashion parade of Vicotria. I have literally never walked on a track.

“Then, I get to the essay and you only make a quick race of the program. Literally, two hours before the show. And they are like, ‘ok, Liv, you are opening the program’. Oh, shoot, I have never seen someone walk on the track in person.”

Dunne said he consulted people who believed they would not influence him.

“Then, I was able to open the program with a Sports Illustrated T -shirt, which was great and it was an iconic moment,” Dunne said. “And then, I decided just after the rehearsal, I remember, I was talking to my sister: I was consulting only with people who knew they would agree with me. I thought: ‘Should I make a division?’ And they were like, ‘… yes.

“Seeing a fashion parade like Sports Illustrated, they want to see the personality, they want to see the movement, they want to see you spending the best moment of your life, because it really was at the time. It was a lot of fun. And yes, I greased and I let myself fall into a division … it was very fun.”

Dunne was one of the four coverage models, along with Lauren Chan, Salma Hayek and Jordan Chiles.

She has been one of the most followed athletes on social networks since she joined LSU. She has more than 8 million followers on Tiktok and another 5.4 million on Instagram. She helped tigers a national championship in 2024, but her last year with LSU was derailed by an injury.
