Local leaders react to Indian missile attacks, promise strong reprisals

Pakistan’s political leaders, who belong to both government and opposition parties, have joined in the sentence of India’s attack against Pakistan.

“The orientation of innocent women and children is not strength, it is savagery,” Bilawal added, promising that Pakistan’s armed forces, supported by a united nation, would decisively respond to aggression. “We will not tolerate the violations of our sovereignty. Pakistan is united, challenging and ready,” he concluded.

CM Maryam Nawaz

Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif firmly condemned the Indian missile strike on Pakistani soil, qualifying it from a “coward” law that raises a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

In a statement issued Tuesday night, the CM described the missile attack as an “act of aggression” and praised the armed forces of Pakistan for her blunt response, which she forced to India to retire.

“The detestable act of India has exposed its true face to the world,” said CM Punjab. “Pakistan seeks peace, but we will never commit ourselves to our sovereignty.”

Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Omar Ayub commented that India and its fascist leader Narendra Modi only understand the language of force.

“Proud of the Pakistan Air Force to have knocked down the Indian planes. Let this be a lesson for India. Invest at your own risk. You will be shot down,” said the PTI leader.

Senator Sherry Rehman condemned India’s missile attack against Pakistan, qualifying him as a direct act of aggression. She said: “Modi has begun, but Pakistan will end it.”

Sherry Rehman described the attacks against Muzampharabad, Kotli and Bahawalpur as unforgivable crimes.

In addition, he emphasized that India’s missile strike exposed his malicious intention, and Pakistan will no longer remain silent. “India took our peace offer as weakness,” said Sherry Rehman, adding that India will now be answered in his language.

She continued to say: “The Modi government has put regional peace at risk. Pakistan’s response will crush the enemy’s arrogance.” According to her, the blood of the innocent Pakistani spilled in missile attacks is not counted.

Maryam Aurengzeb

The main minister of Punjab, Maryam Aurengzeb, also spoke, expressing the greeting of the nation to her brave armed forces, which quickly and decisively responded to Indian aggression.

Maryam Aurengzeb said that the cowardly attacks of India against innocent civilians, mosques and vital water projects such as the Neelum-Jhelum dam had encountered an extraordinary and powerful response from the Pakistan army.

She declared: “Our forces demonstrated an incomparable force and courage to tear down five of the enemy’s planes. Pakistan’s borders are a red line, and any attempt to cross them will find a large -scale response.”

In addition, he declared that while Pakistan seeks peace, he is not weak, and each attack will find a double blow. “Our armed forces are like a steel wall that will crush every attack of the enemy,” he said, adding that the entire nation is linked to its military. “Pakistan Zindabad!”

Sheikh Rashid

The former Interior Minister and leader of the Awami Muslim Leage (AML) Sheikh Rashid also commented on the situation, affirming in a video message that India launched an attack on the Pakistani unarmed at night, to which the Pakistan Air Force quickly broke down to five Indian jets, giving the enemy a firm response.

He said: “The enemy thought he could intimidate us, but the Pakistani nation has not been inclined or ever do it. If Pakistan decides, the enemy will not remain safe. You have destroyed our mosque and our patience has now exhausted.”

Sheikh Rashid also added: “Pakistan is a living nation, and Islam honors martyrdom. Martyrdom is our pride. When the time comes, each debt will be paid and the enemy will be punished in such a way that they will never dare to look towards Pakistan again.”
