Los Molineros will benefit from the RS19/Kg walk in the price of sugar

Islamabad:

The Government established on Wednesday the retail price of sugar in RS164 per kilogram, which is 13% higher than the established price when the export of 600,000 metric tons of sugar was allowed. This adjustment benefits the mills by allowing them to reap a double bonanza, obtaining greater income from local and international markets.

The decision was taken by a 10 members committee led by the Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The Committee determined the new ex-faactive and retail prices of sugar after negotiations with the Association of Sugar Moletas de Pakistan (PSMA), an entity accused of operating as a poster by the Nation’s anti-political control body.
