The death related to Tyler Skaggs drugs has taken a turn, it involves a current MLB pitcher.
The left -handed Reds of the Cincinnati, Wade Miler, has been accused of providing drugs to Skaggs, who died of an overdose in 2019.
The former Skaggs agent Ryan Hamill said in a statement that Skaggs told him that he was using pain pills containing oxycodone provided by Miley.

The deposition is part of a lawsuit for unfair death filed by Skaggs’ family against their former angels of Los Angeles. Skaggs and Miley were teammates from the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012 and 2013.
The former Los Angels publicist, Eric Kay, was sentenced in Texas for providing fentanyl pills that found an autopsy contributed to the death of Skaggs.
Kay was sentenced to 22 years in a federal prison in 2022.

Miley, 38, does not face criminal charges, and is not the first time that his name appears in relation to the death of Skaggs. During the judgment phase of Kay’s case, prosecutors used a recording of a conversation between Kay and her mother, in which Kay said that Miley was one of Skaggs drug suppliers.
The ex -As of the New York Mets, Matt Harvey, admitted during the Kay trial that he supplied drugs to Skaggs. The two were teammates with the Angels in the year of Skaggs’ death.
Harvey, CJ Cron, Mike Morin and Cam Bedrosian also said in court that Kay provided drugs.
Harvey and three other players also testified that they received Skaggs pills and described the consumption of recreational drugs that they witnessed while they were with the Angels.
Miley signed a one -year contract with Los Rojos on June 4 and made two openings this season. He had a surgery of Tommy John in the left elbow in May 2024 and signed a minor leagues agreement with Cincinnati in February.

The Reds did not comment on Thursday, and Miley was not immediately available to comment.
Skaggs was 27 when he was found in a hotel room in Southlake, Texas, before the Angels were prepared to play the Texas Rangers.
