The New Orleans Saints Week had a relatively quiet start, but the franchise quickly began to make noise. On Tuesday, multiple reports indicated that the franchise caused a great splash by landing Justin Reid.
The defense of the star and the Saints reached an agreement on a three -year contract, according to ESPN. Reid spent the last three seasons with the Chiefs, but entered the free agents market after it seemed not to be part of Kansas City’s future plans. Reid won a couple of Super Bowls during its three -year period with the Chiefs.

Reid and the Chiefs fell short in the search to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The Eagles dominated the Chiefs at the Super Bowl Lix last month. The 40-22 victory marked the second time in history that the Eagles won the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Shortly after the game, New Orleans called the next chief coach of Kellen Moore, the next franchise chief coach. Moore spent the 2024 season as an offensive coordinator of the Eagles.
The acquisition of Reid by New Orleans, which has 10 interceptions, six catches, three forced loose balls and three loose ball recoveries in his career, arrives a day after the former initial corner of the Saints, Paulson Adebo, agreed a free agent agreement with the New York giants.

The Saints also signed the closed wing Juwan Johnson for an extension of three years and $ 30.75 million that could grow to $ 34.5 million with incentives, said AJ Vaynerchuk agent.
Johnson entered the NFL as a receiver with New Orleans in 2020 and became a closed wing in 2022, when he caught the best seven TouchDown passes of his career. He has played in 67 games with 34 openings. It has 1,622 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns.
